SAF-T (Sensation Awareness Focus Technique)
SĀF-T focuses on moving sensations in the body. Motivation of the participant is key to its success. This technique is designed to produce a calming effect and can be safely used with adults and children. It does not involve medication or hypnosis. The goal is to alleviate negative sensations associated with anxiety, physical discomfort and relief of some pain symptoms. SĀF-T is not therapy although it utilizes eye movements similar to those used during a therapy session. SĀF-T is appropriate for but not limited to: Clergy, Parents, Teachers, Coaches, Couples, College Students, Business and Sports Professionals, First Responders, Hypnotherapists, Massage Therapists, Medical Personnel and Crisis Response Teams. Anyone who would benefit from improved stress management.
