Elizabeth “Betty” Arredondo

Elizabeth “Betty” Arredondo holds a master’s degree in counseling from the University of Texas–Pan American in Edinburg, Texas. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Texas State Board–certified LPC Supervisor (LPC-S), and a Certified School Counselor (CSC).
As a retired teacher and counselor with 27 years of experience, Betty continues to make an impact in the field of mental health. She brings seven years of experience in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an evidence-based approach she considers a “game changer” in treating trauma. She is also a Certified Clinical Sand Tray Therapist (CCST), Certified Advanced Grief Counseling Specialist (CAGCS), and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). She specializes in working with children, adolescents, couples, and families, and is trained in ADHD and adult ASD testing.
A breast cancer survivor, Betty is also the author of A Journey of Healing: What Every Woman Should Know About Breast Cancer. Betty is passionate about helping clients find healing from the inside out, even when it feels out of reach.
