Mary Anders

MA, LP

Mary Anders is a Licensed Psychologist, helping people heal from trauma and loss for nearly 30 years. She has studied many modalities of therapy including EMDR, PBSP, Narrative Therapy, DBT, CBT, FBT and Equine Assisted Therapy before training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).   After learning ART over 5 years ago, her clients began to heal more quickly, sometimes resolving a major trauma in just a few sessions. Session after session, she felt amazed with what she was experiencing with her clients and blessed that she had a therapy that made such a dramatic difference in her client’s healing. Many of her clients come to her after being in therapy for many years, many with complex trauma or complicated grief, having seen many therapists using different modalities of therapy. These clients are thankful for ART and the healing that they get through it. Day after day, she hears a heartfelt thank you for the work she does through ART.

After using ART in her therapy for the past five plus years, Mary shares this therapy with other therapists as a Lead ART Trainer teaching the Basic ART training to Licensed Mental Health Therapists. She enjoys training therapists in her community as well as other parts of the country. She has traveled to the Central Midwest, Southwest and plans to expand her trainings throughout the country.

Mary has a private practice in Minnetonka, Minnesota where she sees adolescents and adults with depression, anxiety, PTSD, complicated grief, OCD, phobias, addictions, eating disorders and relationship issues.

Mary credits her ongoing enthusiasm and passion for her work to Laney Rosenzweig and her development of ART. She is thankful and honored to be part of the group of ART trainers and feels deep gratitude to Laney Rosenzweig, Developer of ART, RCRR, IS-ART and ART International for their contributions to ART.

In her personal life, she enjoys her family, friends, travel, good food, music and theater. She is a lifelong learner.
