Billy Wideman

MS, NCC, LPC

Billy Wideman, MS, NCC, LPC, has been utilizing Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) since 2021 to help young men heal from the lasting effects of childhood sexual abuse. Through his clinical work, he has witnessed the transformative impact that ART can have in reducing trauma-related distress and helping individuals move forward in their recovery journeys.

Billy earned his Master of Science in Counseling from Northeastern State University and is currently pursuing a PhD in Developmental Psychology at Liberty University. His professional interests include trauma treatment, resilience, and the ways developmental experiences shape mental health across the lifespan.

In addition to his clinical practice, Billy is passionate about mentoring and supporting fellow behavioral health professionals as they learn and integrate ART into their work. He enjoys helping clinicians build confidence in the model, develop practical skills, and discover how ART can be effectively incorporated into a variety of treatment settings. Billy is committed to expanding access to evidence-based trauma treatment and fostering a community of practitioners dedicated to helping clients achieve meaningful and lasting healing.
