David Aldrich
LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
David Aldrich, has been an active person in communities helping children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of capacities throughout his adult life. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army allowing him to pursue his educational goals. He holds a Masters degree in Social Work from Walden University, a Masters Degree in Education from University of Phoenix, and a PhD in Educational Leadership from Keiser University. He currently lives in Vernal where he owns and operates a private practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Since finishing his social work degree in 2021 David has worked with different populations such as Domestic Violence victims and offenders, soldiers, first responders, and other populations. His passion throughout school has been helping people heal from traumatic events and overcoming different circumstances. He has studied or been trained in CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Mind Body Bridging along with other modalities.
He was fortunate to find ART while being trained in another modality and saw the potential for clients. David reached out to trainers and facilitated bringing them to his local area to access a better way to help clients. He attended Basic ART training in 2022 which led to David starting the process to become a trainer. The journey to be a trainer consisted of assisting in other basic ART trainings with other trainers, gathering experience in session, attending Advanced and Enhanced, and finally reaching the goal of becoming an ART trainer in just over a year from his initial training date. His new goal is to bring ART to more people by training new therapists in the community in Basic ART protocols. This modality has the potential to help so many it needs to be spread to more clinicians.
Thanks to ART, David has helped people in the community and works daily to do more for his neighbors. He has continued to spread the word of how powerful the change can be to clinicians and clients. With more clinicians being trained and helping clients every month ART has continued to grow and reach new people.
