Deborah Lyublanovits, a graduate of St. Petersburg College and the University of South Florida, holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Counseling/Gerontology.

With over two decades of experience in Mental Health Counseling, Lyublanovits has specialized in working with clients with trauma of all ages.  She has worked with many different types of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and sexual dysfunctions as examples.  During this time, she has enjoyed mentoring college and registered interns providing training as they have moved forward with their careers. She has spent many years supervising other mental health professionals in a supervisory role. Additionally, she has facilitated groups in anger management and sexually acting out behaviors for youths (ATSA Member).

As a clinician Lyublanovits has many designations such as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist and Qualified Supervisor (mental health and marriage and family) for the state of Florida, Certified Addiction Professional, Trainer for Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Therapy, Certified Sex Therapist, Certified Transgender Care Therapist, and is rostered in Child Parent Psychotherapy.  She is also trained in Family Law Mediation, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma Informed Care, Rapid Resolution Therapy (Hypnosis), Touchpoints, and Sand Tray/Play Therapy. Of these modalities Lyublanovits has found the most effective to be ART and because of this fact has become an ART trainer sharing her expertise with others.

In her current role at a Florida CAC (Children’s Advocacy Center) she provides consultation services to other licensed clinicians, provides direct services, and enjoys fostering growth in others.
