unique blend of expertise, empathy, and dedication to her practice.
Her academic journey includes a Master’s in Disaster and Emergency Management from Royal Roads University, complemented by a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Jacqueline’s extensive experience spans both military and civilian sectors, having served in the Canadian Armed Forces, where she witnessed and personally experienced trauma during international deployments to Haiti, Honduras, Bosnia, and Afghanistan. These experiences have profoundly shaped her understanding of trauma and resilience.
Currently, Jacqueline serves as a consultant at healing and addiction centres near her home, where she works with individuals facing complex challenges, including intergenerational trauma, racism, discrimination, marginalization, and the lasting impacts of colonialism. She has also provided invaluable support to first responders, including Police, EMS, Fire personnel, and veterans, witnessing firsthand the transformative power of ART.
Introduced to ART in 2023, Jacqueline quickly recognized its efficacy and has since become a passionate advocate for this innovative therapeutic approach. Specializing in trauma recovery, she has successfully guided highly traumatized individuals toward healing and empowerment, fostering resilience and emotional well-being.
