Marsha Mandel

Marsha Mandel, LMHC-D, LPC, CCTP-II, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York and a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey and Connecticut. She specializes in trauma treatment, neurodivergent mental wellness, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy® (ART). Marsha is a certified Master-level ART clinician, an ART trainer, and holds the Certified Clinical Trauma Professional – Level II (CCTP-II) credential, along with certifications in Rational Living Therapy (Level 3 CBT) and Integrated Mental Health/Addictions Treatment Training (IMHATT) from Columbia Psychiatry and the New York State Psychiatric Institute.

Marsha began her clinical work in intensive outpatient programs in 2010, established her private practice in 2016, and has been training clinicians nationally in ART since 2017. She has presented at conferences including the International Society of Accelerated Resolution Therapy (IS-ART), the National Association of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (NACBT), the New York Mental Health Counselors Association (NYMHCA), and the New York Association of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services (NYAPRS).

She brings a neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed approach, shaped by professional expertise, lived experience as a neurodivergent clinician, and parenting two neurodivergent adults. Marsha primarily uses ART and integrates cognitive strategies, self-compassion, mindfulness, body-based relaxation, and visualization. Her approach is further informed by training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Brainspotting.
