Mary Anders
MA, LP
Mary Anders, MA, LP, is a Licensed Psychologist who has devoted 30 years to helping people heal from trauma and loss. Over the course of her career, she has trained extensively in a wide range of therapeutic modalities—including EMDR, PBSP, Narrative Therapy, DBT, CBT, FBT, and Equine-Assisted Therapy—before discovering Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).
After completing ART training in 2013, Mary observed a profound shift in her clients’ progress. Many began healing more rapidly, often resolving major trauma within just a few sessions. Session after session, she continued to feel humbled and grateful for the transformative outcomes her clients experienced. Numerous individuals seek Mary out after years of prior therapy, often carrying complex trauma or complicated grief, and frequently share heartfelt appreciation for the healing they find through ART.
Mary is a Master ART Therapist, National Trainer, and Clinical ART Specialist. Since becoming an ART Trainer in 2016, she has taught both Basic and Advanced ART trainings to mental health professionals in her community and across the country. In addition to her training work, Mary has presented on ART and its application in grief and loss, and she plans to continue growing and developing this area of specialization to support both clinicians and clients.
In her private practice in Minnetonka, Minnesota, Mary works with adolescents and adults addressing depression, anxiety, PTSD, complicated grief, OCD, phobias, addictions, eating disorders, and relationship challenges.
Mary credits her ongoing passion for this work to Laney Rosenzweig, the developer of ART. She feels honored to contribute to the ART community and holds deep gratitude for Laney and the teams at RCRR and IS-ART for their continual innovation and leadership.
Outside of her professional life, Mary enjoys time with family and friends, travel, good food, music, and theater. She is a lifelong learner who continues to seek growth both personally and professionally.
