Teriann Ness

Teriann is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 24 years of experience in the mental health and substance use treatment fields. Throughout her career, she has worked across a broad range of clinical, community, and systems-based settings, developing extensive expertise in trauma treatment, behavioral health services, and program development.

Her professional background includes working with veterans and active duty service members, first responders, child protection services, state and county corrections, adults with mental health concerns, and individuals seeking recovery from substance use disorders.

Teriann became a trained practitioner of Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) in February 2018 and has completed Basic, Advanced, and Enhanced ART training. She incorporated ART into her clinical work with diverse populations experiencing trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and other life challenges. Her passion for ART stems from witnessing its ability to help clients achieve meaningful and lasting change in a brief and effective manner.

As an ART trainer, she is committed to helping fellow clinicians develop confidence and competence in utilizing this evidence-based approach, while fostering a collaborative and engaging learning environment that supports professional growth and clinical excellence.
